Dock Code — Type 2 charging cable holder with combination lock

Keep your charging cable in its place between sessions. Dock Code combines a wall holder with a mechanical lock for a stored Type 2 connector.

Store it, then lock it

In a shared garage, carport or private charging area, an unsecured connector is easy to remove. Dock Code holds the unplugged connector in a dedicated socket and secures its retention with a three-digit combination. The upper supports carry the cable loops, keeping the connector off the ground and your charging area organised.

After charging, stop the session and disconnect according to the vehicle instructions. Coil the cable loosely, place the connector in the holder and lock it. There is no extra key to carry. Keep the combination private and change it according to the supplied instructions when authorised users change.

Check the connector before ordering

Type 2 connectors can have different outer housings. Compare your handle with the product photographs and allow enough clearance around it. This model is not intended for J1772/Type 1, CCS or NACS connectors. If unsure, send us a photograph of your connector before buying.

Protection between charging sessions

The lock retains the connector while it is stored in the holder, helping deter opportunistic removal. It does not lock a connector while the car is charging and does not replace the retention system built into the vehicle or charger.

Dock Code does not provide cut-resistant protection for the cable length, which remains accessible. No certified burglary-resistance rating is claimed. For an exposed site facing repeated cutting attempts, assess a dedicated mechanical cable protection system.

Make everyday storage easy

Choose a position where you can reach the connector without stretching the cable or obstructing a walkway. Use fixings suitable for the wall and the load. Keep generous cable loops and respect the cable manufacturer's bend radius. Do not use the holder to conceal damage or continue using a damaged cable.
