Choose cable theft protection for the way your equipment is exposed: an unplugged connector, an accessory that needs retaining or a cable at risk of being cut.
During charging, connector retention depends on the vehicle and charger. Between sessions, a removable cable left outside needs a different storage routine. On an open parking site, the accessible cable length may need dedicated protection. Identify the situation before comparing accessories.
Dock Code uses a three-digit mechanical combination to retain an unplugged connector in its wall holder. Check the handle shape before ordering. It does not secure a connector during charging or prevent the exposed cable from being cut.
Tether provides supplementary retention where suitable attachment points exist. Avoid compressing the electrical cable. Lock J is for compatible J1772 adapter arrangements and is not a universal Type 2 lock.
CatStrap EV Cable Shield is offered in the AC 3 m Shield-only configuration at €499. Other lengths and DC projects require a quotation. Check cable diameter, charger reference, required movement and fixing conditions. No accessory guarantees complete protection against theft.
