CatStrap describes EV Cable Shield as reinforced multilayer protection intended to make cutting more difficult. The standard kit includes the protection, its extension element, an outer covering and the fixing accessories specified by CatStrap. The €499 version includes no alarm, tracking or dye-marking option.
The product retains the CatStrap brand. The manufacturer's photograph shows an installation example: the charger, electrical cable, vehicle and pedestal are not included.
Enter the charger make and model and the cable's outer diameter in the product form. Also measure the length requiring protection and inspect the cable exit and fixing arrangement. If compatibility is uncertain, contact Proctelec before purchase with photographs of the charger and cable exit.
The protection must preserve normal handling, connector reach, storage and inspection access. Have the integration checked by the charger manufacturer or maintenance provider. Respect the specified bend radius, thermal requirements and any existing cable retraction system. Never cover a damaged cable to keep using it.
A mechanical barrier aims to make theft attempts more difficult; it cannot guarantee that theft will not occur. This page does not claim a certified resistance time, independent test result or automatic compensation. Applicable functions and conditions depend on the exact configuration supplied.
For several chargers, validate one representative installation before equipping the whole site. Combine the protection with a clear reporting and inspection process.
The AC 3 m version is available to order at €499. Availability and lead time depend on the configuration. For another length, DC charging or installation services, request a configuration quotation.
