Help with your choice

Tell us about your charger and how you use it.

Build protection around your charging point by separating three needs: access to the charger housing, protection of the cable and control of the parking space.

Limit direct access to the wallbox

The Vault lockable enclosure adds a physical barrier around compatible wall chargers. Its transparent window keeps the equipment visible. Compare the external dimensions with the charger, its connections and the manufacturer's required clearances. Have ventilation and mounting checked by your installer before fitting.

Protect an exposed cable

An enclosure does not protect cable left outside it. CatStrap EV Cable Shield AC 3 m, priced at €499 without DyeDefender, addresses a different need: mechanical protection intended to make cutting more difficult. Check the cable diameter, length, charger model and normal handling. Other lengths and DC installations require a specific quotation.

Manage the parking space

A Park manual parking barrier helps reserve a private charging space when its installation is suitable. It is not an impact-rated bollard and does not secure the charger's electronics. Keep pedestrian routes, accessible approaches and maintenance access clear.

Plan a coherent installation

  1. Record the charger reference, dimensions and mounting surface.
  2. Identify who can reach the equipment and when.
  3. Keep normal controls, ventilation and inspections accessible.
  4. Define how users report damaged or suspicious equipment.
