Control access to your wall charger

A charger in a carport, courtyard or shared parking area remains visible and accessible. Vault places it inside a dedicated enclosure. When closed, the door limits direct access to the equipment while its window lets you see the charger. The black finish suits residential and professional installations.

Use the enclosure alongside secure charger mounting, managed access to the site and practical cable storage. It does not replace electrical protection or the charger's own charging authorisation system.

Compare the external dimensions

These are external measurements, not the usable internal space. A charger matching an enclosure dimension is not automatically compatible. Measure the cable entries, protruding connectors and space needed to open and maintain the equipment.

Confirm the installation requirements

Ask your installer to check the charger manufacturer's required clearances, temperature limits and ventilation instructions. Openings alone do not establish that a particular charger will cool adequately. Keep essential controls, isolation arrangements and maintenance access available.

Fixings must suit the wall and the combined load. On shared sites, check the approach for users, connector reach and access for servicing. This enclosure is not a vehicle collision barrier.

Match the protection to the risk

Vault limits direct access to the charger housing and helps deter opportunistic interference. No certified IP, IK or burglary-resistance class is claimed on this page. It does not make a charger theft-proof or protect cable left outside the enclosure.
